I chose to use the models in the cover as my subject and by removing them I think that the focus is still somewhat sexual but takes the identity of the man away. I think this speaks to racism in the mainstream gay culture; especially in this time period. With these images I have uploaded you can’t determine race which is more inclusive and leaves room for interpretation by the viewer.
